I am excited and humbled to be featured in a blog post on the Send Cleveland website of the North American Mission Board. God has truly blessed us and we are excited about the ministry in which He has placed us .
I grew up as a Southern Baptist. I was a Royal Ambassador. I was in Children’s Choir, Sunday School, Discipleship Training (Training Union?) and all that goes with being a Southern Baptist. I gave my heart and life to Jesus in a Southern Baptist Church in Frankfurt Germany (my dad was stationed there in the Air Force). I surrendered to ministry at a Southern Baptist Youth Camp in Mississippi while attending with my youth group. I grew up hearing about Home Missionaries from the “Home Mission Board” and Foreign Missionaries from the “Foreign Mission Board.” I went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and watched as the Convention changed and morphed for the better before my eyes. I am proud to be a Southern Baptist. I am proud because Southern Baptists seek to advance the Kingdom of God and reach people for Jesus!
I am thrilled to be a part of reaching people through church planting. We are so humbled to be able to share our story. I pray more people will choose to partner with us as we do our part to change the world for Christ.
